What is the primary mission of this role?
• The primary mission of this role is to provide essential quality support in a composite and machining factory. The focus will be on maintaining product quality and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
What are the main functions of this role include but are not limited to:
• Verifying product and process compliance with contractual, technical, industry, AS9100 QMS requirements, and internal policies.
• Generating and publishing metrics regularly.
• Providing general administrative support to the quality team.
• Supporting the inspection team as needed.
• Developing and maintaining inspection instructions aligned with technical data package requirements.
• Participating in daily status meetings with factory teams and stakeholders to address issues.
• First article Inspection support

• Manufacturing Knowledge: Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with composites and/or machining experience preferred.
Desired Skill Sets:
• Familiarity with Manufacturing or Production: General knowledge of manufacturing environments, particularly in machining, composites, or similar fields.
• Technical Documentation: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Hands-On Inspection Experience: Proficiency in using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
• Proficiency with Tools/Software: Basic skills in common office software (e.g., Excel, Word) and a willingness to learn specialized tools or systems.
• Knowledge of Industry Standards: Understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant quality management systems
• Adaptability: Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
o Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including management, hourly employees, and other internal stakeholders.

Education Level Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality) OR
• Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment OR
• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in lieu of a degree
How will the contractor’s success be measured?
• Accurate Execution of Tasks: Completes assigned tasks within the established deadlines 98% of the time.
• Adaptability and Learning: Demonstrates proficiency in key job functions by independently performing at least 80% of responsibilities within the first 90 days.
• Effective Collaboration: o Actively participates in 100% of scheduled daily status and weekly quality meetings. o Receives positive feedback from at least 90% of team members and stakeholders in periodic reviews or surveys.
• Support for Factory Operations: o Provides timely support to the inspection team, achieving a 95% on-time resolution rate for assigned tasks. o Attends and actively contributes to 100% of factory support meetings.
• Dependability and Initiative: o Completes 100% of assigned responsibilities without the need for repeated follow-ups. o Volunteers for or identifies at least one additional area of improvement or task outside core responsibilities every quarter. Culture
